Erin’s background is in dance. She came into a Reformer Pilates class by accident and fell in love. As a new mother, her body was tired, her mind was cloudy, and her posture demolished from carrying and nursing two kids back to back.
After one class, she was hooked. She felt an immediate difference in her body. It wasn’t a major change, but her body felt good! She made some personal goals for herself and began attending at least 4 reformer classes a week.
Within 3 months she noticed a difference in her posture. The pain in her neck started to subside and her hunched over shoulders were starting to pull back and down. She also saw a decrease in migraines. After seeing the proof for herself and experiencing the wonders of Pilates she decided to get certified to teach and share this powerful practice with others.
Erin now takes her knowledge of ballet and brings it to the reformer. Her technique and knowledge give her the edge to bring a different perspective to her clients. They noticed the difference as well! She truly believes when ballet and Pilates are fused together, it’s possible to gain an extra edge to the practice. There is a reason Joe Pilates worked with the New York City Ballet!
Erin’s clients do not have to be dancers... most times students do not even realize the way she teaches has anything to do with ballet. That is the beauty of this powerful practice.
“This practice is not just about strengthening your body, it’s also about healing. Pilates is a discipline like no other and the results are truly undeniable!”
